On 16 October 2026, Rukmini Devi Public School hosted an interactive student workshop introducing the connected worlds of data, artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors and core electronics.
The workshop moved beyond textbook definitions. Through visual explanations, electronic components, working models and student interaction, participants explored how information is represented, how computers process it and how physical electronic hardware makes modern digital systems possible.
The programme encouraged students to see technology not only as something they use, but as something they can understand, build and improve.
Understanding Data and Artificial Intelligence
Students were introduced to data as information generated by people, sensors, devices, applications and machines. The session explained how digital systems collect, store and process information before software or AI models can identify patterns and produce useful results.
