1. Who we are and scope
This policy explains how Robotic Sir AI India Pvt Ltd ("Robotic Sir", "we", "us") handles personal data through roboticsir.com, our community, memberships, courses, competitions, Store, vendor services, enquiries, dashboards, labs and related communications.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account and contact data, including name, email, phone number, address, age or date of birth where needed, login and verification records.
- Membership and learning data, including selected skills, education, branch choice, attendance, video progress, projects, resume, portfolio links, achievements and profile photo.
- Competition data, including team details, invitations, form responses, eligibility, discounts, payments, results and certificates.
- Store and vendor data, including delivery details, GST and business information, verification documents, address proof, catalogues, listings, orders, enquiries and support records.
- Technical and security data, including IP address, device/browser data, cookies, audit records and fraud-prevention signals.
- Payment status and transaction references. Card, UPI and banking credentials are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by Robotic Sir.
3. How and why we use data
- Provide accounts, profiles, memberships, learning, competitions, Store services, payments, fulfilment and support requested by you.
- Verify identity, eligibility and payments; prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; enforce our terms and preserve platform integrity.
- Send service messages, OTPs, invitations, receipts, deadline notices and responses to enquiries. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted, and you can opt out.
- Improve services using aggregated or consent-based analytics, measure performance and meet legal, accounting, tax, consumer-protection and dispute obligations.
4. Consent, cookies and analytics
Essential storage is used for login, security and your cookie choice. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose analytics cookies. Advertising signals and ad-personalisation are disabled. You may change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
5. When we share data
We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with hosting, email, analytics, payment, fulfilment and support providers; the relevant vendor or team members when you request a Store enquiry or competition invitation; professional advisers; and authorities where lawfully required. Providers may use data only for the contracted purpose. Public profile and project information is displayed only when you choose to share it.
6. Children and students
A person under 18 is treated as a child for this policy. Where processing requires consent, we require verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child's personal data. We do not knowingly use children's data for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising. A guardian may exercise the child's privacy rights by contacting us.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose and applicable legal, tax, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements. Account and public content may be deleted or de-identified after a valid request unless retention is legally required. Payment, order, consent and complaint records may be retained for the applicable statutory period. Backups are deleted on their normal secure rotation.
8. Your choices and rights
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we process and the processing activities, subject to applicable law.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data and request erasure when retention is no longer necessary or legally required.
- Withdraw consent, opt out of non-service communications and nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us and, after using our grievance process, approach the competent Data Protection Board or consumer authority where applicable.
9. Security and incidents
We use proportionate safeguards including HTTPS, password hashing, role-based access controls, private-file permissions, rate limits, payment-signature verification, audit records and backups. No system is completely secure. We investigate suspected incidents and notify affected people and authorities when required by applicable law.
10. Storage and international processing
Service providers may process data from locations outside your state or country. We use contractual and technical safeguards and transfer data only where permitted under applicable Indian law and any government restrictions.
11. Third-party services and links
Razorpay, Google, vendors, logistics providers and external websites operate under their own privacy terms for data they independently control. Review those terms before using their services. We are not responsible for an unrelated website merely because we link to it.
