Soccer Bot Building Workshop at IPEC

Robotic Sir AI India Pvt. Ltd., in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), delivered a hands-on Soccer Bot Building Workshop on 21 September 2026.

The workshop introduced students to the practical systems behind a mobile, wirelessly controlled robot. Participants explored how mechanical design, electronics, embedded control and troubleshooting come together in a working soccer bot.

What students explored

• ESP32-based wireless control using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• Joystick, PS5 controller and custom ESP32 transmitter options
• Motor drivers, chassis construction and drivetrain design
• Battery management, power distribution and step-down regulation
• Hardware integration, movement testing and real-time troubleshooting

From workshop to competition

The session formed part of the learning journey around Robo Goal India 2026, helping students develop practical skills before the championship. It emphasized learning by building: understanding each subsystem, integrating it into a complete robot and testing it in action.
