Robo Goal India 2026
Robo Goal India 2026 brought students, robot builders and technology enthusiasts together for a national celebration of competitive robotics.
Held on 27 September 2026 at the Dome Area of Spectrum Metro Mall in Noida, the championship challenged teams to design, build and control robots capable of competing in fast-paced football matches. The event combined engineering, strategy, teamwork and live problem-solving in a public arena.
Competition at a glance

From workshop to championship
The competition journey began with a technical workshop on 20 September, followed by an open practice session on 26 September. These sessions helped teams test movement, control, ball handling and match strategy before the championship.
On the championship day, participants reported at 9:30 AM for verification and preparation. Matches were conducted from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, culminating in the final rounds and awards ceremony.
Match format
The championship used two arena formats:
3-vs-3 qualifying matches
Teams first competed in group-based 3-vs-3 matches on the large 720 × 720 cm arena. These rounds tested coordination, positioning, attack, defence and the ability to adapt during a live match.
1-vs-1 championship final
The final stage moved to a compact 240 × 240 cm arena. The 1-vs-1 format placed greater emphasis on precise control, speed, reliability and tactical decision-making.
Engineering challenge
Robo Goal India was more than a football tournament. Every match demonstrated the practical engineering behind each robot—from chassis design and motor selection to power management, wireless control and mechanical reliability.
Teams had to keep their robots within the published size, weight, voltage and safety requirements. Robots also needed an accessible power switch, secure components and safe wheels and mechanisms suitable for the arena.
The competition rewarded teams that combined strong engineering with disciplined driving, quick repairs and effective teamwork.

Celebrating competitive robotics
Robo Goal India 2026 showed how an exciting sport can become a serious engineering challenge. Students and young builders transformed motors, controllers, batteries, wheels and custom mechanisms into match-ready robots, then tested those machines under real competitive pressure.
Robotic Sir congratulates every winner, participant, mentor, judge, volunteer and supporter who contributed to Robo Goal India 2026.
